Ngày 15/11/2025 vừa qua, Hội nghị Quốc tế về Xét nghiệm Y học và Tổng kết Quản lý Chất lượng 2025 – Hành trình 15 năm phát triển” dưới sự chủ trì Lãnh đạo Bộ Y tế, Cục Quản lý Khám chữa bệnh, Đại học Y Dược TP.HCM; Trung tâm Kiểm chuẩn chất lượng xét nghiệm y học – Đại học Y Dược TP.HCM phối hợp cùng Bộ môn Xét nghiệm – Trường Điều dưỡng Kỹ thuật y học tổ chức đã chính thức khép lại, đánh dấu một chặng đường 15 năm đầy tự hào và mở ra một chương mới cho ngành xét nghiệm Việt Nam.

Hội nghị là diễn đàn khoa học uy tín, khẳng định vai trò nền tảng của xét nghiệm y học trong bối cảnh y học chính xác.

• Ban tổ chức vô cùng vinh dự khi được đón tiếp gần 700 Quý đại biểu là Quý Lãnh đạo, Ban Giám đốc, các chuyên gia, kỹ thuật viên trưởng từ các Bệnh viện, Viện, Trường Đại học và các cơ sở y tế trên toàn quốc.
• Sự tham gia của các báo cáo viên quốc tế đến từ Hàn Quốc, Thái Lan và các chuyên gia đầu ngành trong nước đã mang đến những cập nhật quý báu về xu hướng công nghệ, đổi mới sáng tạo và hội nhập quốc tế.

Đặc biệt, Hội nghị đã lắng nghe phát biểu chỉ đạo sâu sắc từ TS.BS. Nguyễn Trọng Khoa – Phó Cục trưởng Cục Quản lý Khám, Chữa bệnh (Bộ Y tế) đánh giá cao vai trò của Trung tâm:

Chia sẻ về tầm nhìn chiến lược, PGS.TS Ngô Quốc Đạt – Hiệu trưởng ĐHYD TPHCM nêu rõ, trong bối cảnh y học chính xác và y học cá thể hóa, vai trò của xét nghiệm trở nên then chốt.

Hơn 70% quyết định lâm sàng phụ thuộc vào kết quả xét nghiệm, đồng nghĩa độ tin cậy của xét nghiệm ảnh hưởng trực tiếp đến hiệu quả chẩn đoán và điều trị. Để đảm bảo nền tảng vững chắc này, PGS.TS Ngô Quốc Đạt nhấn mạnh sự cần thiết của một hệ thống quản lý chất lượng toàn diện và một cộng đồng chuyên môn gắn kết chặt chẽ, từ cơ quan quản lý, các cơ sở xét nghiệm, chuyên gia kiểm chuẩn cho đến các đối tác quốc tế.

Khép lại hành trình 15 năm, TS.BS Trần Thị Huệ Vân – Giám đốc Trung tâm Kiểm chuẩn chất lượng xét nghiệm y học đã vạch rõ định hướng tương lai. Dù đạt nhiều thành tựu, ngành xét nghiệm đang đứng trước các thách thức lớn từ xét nghiệm gen, proteomic, big data, nhu cầu kiểm chuẩn công nghệ AI và sự mở rộng của xét nghiệm tại chỗ (POCT).

Để đáp ứng yêu cầu mới, QCC – UMP sẽ tập trung vào ba trụ cột chính:

1. Phát triển các chương trình nội kiểm, ngoại kiểm chuyên sâu, phù hợp với tiến bộ công nghệ.
2. Đẩy mạnh chuyển đổi số trong quản lý và đánh giá chất lượng.
3. Tăng cường đào tạo và hỗ trợ triển khai Quyết định 2429 tại các cơ sở xét nghiệm.

Mục tiêu của Trung tâm là trở thành một trong những đơn vị kiểm chuẩn uy tín hàng đầu khu vực Đông Nam Á, đóng góp tích cực cho mạng lưới quản lý chất lượng xét nghiệm toàn cầu.

On November 15, 2025, the International Conference on Medical Laboratory Science and Quality Management 2025 – “A 15-Year Journey of Development”, chaired by the leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Administration of Medical Examination and Treatment, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP), and jointly organized by the Quality Control Center for Medical Laboratory – UMP and the Department of Medical Laboratory – School of Nursing and Medical Technology, officially concluded, marking 15 years of proud achievements and opening a new chapter for Vietnam’s medical laboratory sector.

The conference served as a reputable scientific forum, reaffirming the fundamental role of laboratory medicine in the era of precision healthcare. As highlighted during the event, over 70% of clinical decisions depend on laboratory test results, underscoring the critical importance of ensuring laboratory quality. The Organizing Committee was honored to welcome nearly 700 distinguished delegates, including leaders, directors, experts, and chief medical technologists from hospitals, institutes, universities, and healthcare facilities nationwide. 🌟 The participation of international speakers from South Korea and Thailand, together with leading domestic experts, brought valuable updates on technology trends, innovation, and and global integration.

Notably, the conference featured an insightful address from Nguyễn Trọng Khoa, MD, PhD – Deputy Director General of the Administration of Medical Examination and Treatment (Ministry of Health), who praised the pivotal contributions of QCC–UMP: “Over the past 15 years, the Quality Control Center For Medical Laboratory – UMP has made remarkable progress. From zero, it has grown into a key institution, serving as an ‘extended arm’ of the Ministry of Health in implementing external quality assessment programs and providing technical support to laboratories nationwide.”

A NEW JOURNEY WITH NEW OBJECTIVES

Closing the 15-year journey, Trần Thị Huệ Vân, MD, PhD – Director of QCC–UMP, outlined future directions. Despite significant achievements, Vietnam’s laboratory sector faces major challenges including genomic testing, proteomics, big data, quality assessment for AI-based technologies, and the growing expansion of Point-of-Care Testing (POCT).

To address these emerging demands, QCC–UMP will focus on three core pillars:

• Developing advanced and technology-aligned external quality assessment (EQA)
• Accelerating digital transformation in quality management and evaluation.
• Strengthening training and supporting the implementation of Decision 2429 across laboratories.

The Center aims to become one of the leading quality assessment institutions in Southeast Asia, contributing actively to the global network of laboratory quality management.
